Today : God Changes Everything
TODAY’S VERSE
“Once you had no identity as a people; now you are God’s people. Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.” I Peter 2:10 (NLT)
TODAY’S THOUGHT
What a difference God can make! He can take anyone, and by the power of the Holy Spirit and the sacrifice of Christ, make them a new creature. Have you allowed Him to do that in your life? Have you come to Him in repentance and thanked Him for dying in your place so you could become His child? Have you surrendered your life to Him, allowing Him to be the ruler of your heart? Peter knew all about it. It happened to him. And so he writes that once we had no identity and now we are identified as His children. Once we knew nothing of God’s love, grace or mercy and now we have received them! God changes everything. You can experience His wonder-changing power today. Come to Him in faith and ask Him to change your life. Bring Him your deepest needs. He loves you and will make all things new.
TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear God, I need You! I need a fresh start. I need Your mercy. Please make changes in my life. I come and surrender to You. In Jesus’ name.

Picture yourself coming to God, just as you are. See His compassion toward you. Sense His joy as you surrender to Him and say, “God, make me a new creature!” Feel His power begin a new work in you. Meditate on His love, mercy and grace and affirm, “God is changing my life!”
